A Promise to see Fulfilled

“For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills will break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn  shall come up the fir tree . . . ” – Isaiah 55:12, 13. Make divine joy and peace your partners and inspiration and you will cause even the mountains and fields to enter into your pleasantries. Even the negative and destructive will be overtaken with the creative, positive and constructive. Enjoy God and today and see the immense difference it makes everywhere.

Doing a Good Deed

A little captive maid made it worthwhile doing good even though placed in untoward circumstances. When she was aware of her master, a great soldier, had the dreaded affliction, leprosy, she was able to be of assistance. Why did he believe and act in accord with her advice? Because she had proved to be a genuine person. Her work ethic and quality character was par excellent. She was used to bring about a major miracle in her day. And so can you! By being and living right you can be a carrier of light, life and blessing today to someone in extreme need. One wonders what happened to her status when Naaman returned home!

A Fresh Visitation

When the Lord would cause you to know a fresh visitation in your life in a powerful manner, there is the demand for renewed consecration, the readiness to surrender all. It may well mean disposing of rubbish and stuff that are not acceptable to him. When the Lord called Jacob and family to Bethel, the House of God, definite measures had to be taken. Jacob said to his sons, Genesis 35:2 “put away the strange gods that are among you, AND BE CLEAN AND CHANGE YOUR GARMENTS.” To prove they meant business they had to get rid of the rubbish. There will be no revival or breakthrough from the Lord until that which displeases and dishonours Him is dealt with and removed. It is time for you to get your act together before Him!

Joke for Today

A magician working a cruise ship had a pet parrot who was ruining his act. The bird would say to the audience, ‘He has the card in his pocket,’or ‘The card’s up his sleeve,’ or ‘It went through a hole in his top hat.’

One day there was a explosion and the ship sank.

The parrot and the magician found themselves together on a piece of wreckage. The parrot stared at the magician.

Finally, the parrot said,’Okay, I give up. What did you do with ship?’

Something to Make you Think

On the subject of laziness –

‘Remember-even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there!’.

‘You can’t leave your footprints on the sands of time while sitting down’.
