Be assured of this glorious truth and prospect as affirmed in the Scriptures: “ For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which you have shewed towards His Name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister” – Hebrews 6: 10. he is ever mindful of you and what you are doing. As you keep your motivation right and ministry flowing it will grow and glow and be duly recompensed by Him. Count it a pleasure to serve and the service will be meaningful and fruitful.

I had rather feel compunction than know the definition thereof.

One of the main things that Christ sought to do was to spend a great deal of time  with His disciples, giving them instruction that would cause them to know, relate to Him and begin to implement His teaching in their lives. If they were going to be different and become the founding stones of His Church on earth, it was essential they know, imbibe His truth and receive His power to perform. His truth would be radical and require immediate and personal transformation that would reflect His kingdom virtues and values. They must possess His teaching and His teaching possess them.

It is essential that you spend time being taught by Him through reading the Holy Scriptures. The Holy Spirit will be alongside to inspire and illuminate what you read and meditate on. Such will be the effect that you will have faith to believe and strength to follow through what is made known. You will take on conformity to Him in every way.

The blessed consequence of this will be that others will see Christ in you and observe that he is alive and at work in every way in your life. They will behold a living model and powerful manifestation of Him that will provoke inquiry and salvation. So take time out until you possess His personal instruction so you will serve heaven’s interests and bring eternal benefit to the Christian church and the world.

WAIT FOR GOD – Isaiah 64

An important lesson to learn in one’s relationship with God is to wait on Him. Faith in God leads on in the art and act of waiting for Him to bring to pass things of a miraculous nature according to His timing. God is never in a hurry and always works to a perfect timetable. Those who know Him discover that He has everything timed to perfection. The major problem with man, and with those who profess a belief in Him and His Word, is that of impatience. Many have missed out because of the failure to live according to His schedule of working.

The directive is given: “For since the world began, no ear has heard, and no eye has seen a God like You, who works for those who wait for Him” – v4. Nothing could be clearer or surer. It is illustrated in the lives of the saints and those great servants of God in the past. Joseph was to find out that the Lord had everything under perfect control and timing in the advancing of his life and ministry. He had to negotiate some very difficult situations and experiences but in the end he saw God perform some choice things and fulfil His purposes. His love for God led him to trust and wait for Him.

God has not forsaken you in your present lot and situation although it may seem upside down and in turmoil. He, more than anything else, is developing your trust in Him and the word of revelatory promise He has given. In His omniscience, He knows the best and right hour to step in and work what requires to be done, so do not despair. Be assured of this: if you have a desire to please and glorify Him in all your ways, He will make certain that the best things will be finalized in your life on schedule. Learn to quietly reside in His love, wisdom and power.
