A GOLDEN PROMISE from the Bible

The apostle Paul shows you your new place in Christ and what is to be your lot in the future, beginning now. You are now spiritually seated with Christ in the heavenly regions to enjoy the reign of His goodness in this life as well as beyond in eternity. The promise is “that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” – Ephesians 2:7. You are not waiting for something to be put into motion and be transacted, but in this present world God the Father seeks to demonstrate His kindness and blessing. The coming age includes the time factor now. So learn to believe and look to your heavenly Father, sensing that today He is to give you tokens of His love and gift. The assurance that the coming ages area reality and not simply a dream or a figment of your imagination is the evidence of the all-glorious blessing of the Father in the immediate scene of your life and affairs. To this end you must believe, pray and expect.

Thought for the Day

Make certain that you have some excellent objectives before you to secured and bring to fruition. Each day be sure that you set out to accomplishment something of divine worth and value. Be reminded that Christ you example had noble goals directing His life, mission and service. For instance, on one occasion He said: “I cam to do my Father’s will not mine own”. He had the positive and the negative dictating His within. The positive to secure the great end purpose of heaven saying Yes to all that embraced. Possessing the negative whereby He could say No to all that would deny and destroy the positive. As you inquire from above at the outset of the day you will find immediate help in this in revelation and also empowerment to achieve all that is revealed.

QUOTES TO NOTE – Leadership

Ultimately, leadership is not about glorious crowning acts. It’s about keeping your team focused on a goal and motivated to do their best to achieve it, especially when the stakes are high and the consequences really matter. It is about laying the groundwork for others’ success, and then standing back and letting them shine. Chris Hadfield

VICARIOUS FAITH – Matthew 8: 1-17

This passage is all about the healing and delivering power of Jesus Christ. In v16

we are told that He healed “all” that were sick. None were left out. There are three accounts of how he met and ministered to a leper, a centurion’s servant and Simon Peter’s mother-in law; in each case He brought complete cures. The attitude of the centurion gripped Christ and He could not refrain from declaring this man’s faith although he was a Gentile. He had faith for his servant to be healed.

His faith was both in Christ and in the power of His word. This is why He came to Him. Not only did he care for his servant, he was sure that Christ could perform a work of healing by simply speaking and commanding the sickness to go. He was conscious of his own authority to command the soldiers under his rule and he also recognized Christ had authority in the realm of healing. So the centurion sought and asked Him to act in this way; and He did. His faith for another was rewarded.

There is no reason why your faith cannot be as dynamic as his was in the situation he had to deal with. Why not ask the Lord to inspire you on a similar line for people who are in desperate need to be made well. Your faith can make a difference. There is a challenge presented to raise your faith level and to seek Him to work the wonder in someone you know requires a miracle. You can be the ‘faith link! His example is there to emulate again so that similar things will occur that will added testimony to the Lord in this modern age.
