Rev. E. Anderson

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 135,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and daily Meditations, working through the whole Bible, something to focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

Genesis 1:27-28 (WEB)

“God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

God created us in His own image. Think about that for a moment. We were created to reflect the image of God Himself! I wonder what the angels thought when they first saw Adam and Eve? What a glorious privilege to be made in the image of the One who knit us together in our mother’s womb!

May we never take this blessing for granted. May we always be in awe of the fact that we were created to look just like God. When Jesus came to the earth 2,000 years ago, He sealed the deal by making a way for us to be conformed into His image (Romans 8:29) inside and out so that He could be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters.

My prayer today is that we would live in the light of our Father’s original blessing to be fruitful, to multiply and to have dominion throughout the whole earth with the knowledge that we were created to look just like our heavenly Dad.

UNSOLVED MURDERS – Rev. Bob Steveson

“A murderer’s conscience will drive him into hell. Don’t stop him! Good men will be rescued from harm, but cheaters will be destroyed”.

Read: Proverbs 28:17, 18

There is a television series currently running here in Australia that seeks to shed new light on unsolved murders. Murder cases of twelve years ago or more are being reopened to the viewing public in the hope that someone will come forward with information known to them, information that for one reason or another has but been withheld until now.

The sombre truth is that there are people out there in our world who have committed crime against humanity but have never been brought to justice. They have cut short a life which God intended to live much longer and whilst never yet detected, live with the tormented conscience

of guilt and condemnation. Our Living Bible says that such an unrepentant conscience will drive you to hell and nobody can prevent the judgment from happening.

There are people in possession of such a conscience that may have succeeded avoiding detection. However, those who have suffered such a loss, are forced to live the rest of their lives with the sadness that the murderous loss of a loved one can bring. Be assured of this fact, that the God of Heaven will not allow such criminal intent to unpunished. Better to repent and face the judgment of men in this life than to suffer eternal consequences of falling into the hands of the living God.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

Everyone desires to find the real path of life. For the psalmist, he believed that the Lord would reveal it and enable him to tread it. Whilst making a prophetic utterance with regard to the forthcoming Messiah as to His resurrection and exaltation – vv9, 10, he was assured, at the same time, that there would be a disclosure of the true pathway for life and living at all times. The Lord would truly make manifest to him the great route to take in order to enjoy life to the full. Life in all its fullness comes from the Lord alone – see John 10: 10.

This path leads to an experience of knowing the Lord’s delightful presence and input. To know the Lord becomes the sheer delight of life and he switches on to spiritual joy that is beyond human definition and description. To have the Lord with you is the best and biggest asset in life. He leads into untold pleasures for it states: “at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” He loves to bring those things that really satisfy and bring a sense of fulfilment. In everything He enriches life and causes it to release its potential in the right things that in turn administer untold blessing.

This day He would open your eyes to this divine route that will lead you into a life of blessedness, fruitfulness and usefulness. Ask Him to show this path and be ready in faith and obedience to tread it. Even those things that are hard and difficult to accept have a way of opening out into enormous contentment and gratification. He certainly wants to see you at your best now, but also he desires that you do not miss out in life on the best.
