Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and daily Meditations, working through the whole Bible. something to focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

“For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God” – Colossians 3:3

The reality for everyone who has received the free gift of eternal life is that their old life is passed away and everything has become new in Christ. To better appreciate today’s promise, I think we should read Colossians 3:1-3 from the English Standard Version…

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (ESV)

This passage of Scripture clearly tells of the royal position that every believer has in Christ, seated at the right hand of God. I do not believe that this just an idealistic picture that Paul wanted to paint, but it is a spiritual reality right now. Our Elder Brother Jesus, actually sits at the right hand of our Father in heaven, and because we are joined with Jesus, we are seated there too!

Without revelation that comes from the Holy Spirit, the spiritual reality of today’s promise is much more than we can comprehend with our natural mind. How can we see ourselves as hid in Christ, seated at the right hand of God with our human understanding? It is far too great a promise for us to grasp without the power of the Holy Spirit to make this real to us!

So my prayer today is that the reality of our spiritual position in Christ would become more real to us than it has ever been before. Holy Spirit, would you come and help us grasp this amazing truth? We want to see with our spiritual eyes today and comprehend every great and precious promise that comes from the throne of our God and Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.

“Stop listening to teaching that contradicts what you know is right. A worthless witness cares nothing for truth he enjoys his sinning too much. Mockers and rebels shall be severely punished” –
Read: Proverbs 19:27-29

In the last few days l have read‘ in an English newspaper that they are going to scrap the ‘Comprehensive’ approach to education in the State run schooling system. This system or philosophy of educating the masses was designed to foster individuality and reduce everyone to a common level of educational progress.

I was too young at the time to know whether this was a good or bad thing, but even if I had been aware of the issues involved, it would not have made any difference because the Government of the day said that was the way things would be.

The abolition of a school uniform so as to express greater choice has now been returned to the wearing of a school uniform. The limitations that were placed on bright students have now been scrapped in favour of an individually monitored development, irrespective of pace.

Some things sound so plausible at the time, but if we know that they fly in the face of what we know deep down to be right, we need to stand our ground and come down on God’s perspectives every time.
Don’t be fooled by contradictory teaching, no matter how plausable.

Being cool is being your own self, not doing something that someone else is telling you to do – Vanessa Hudgens

It’s so important to realize that every time you get upset, it drains your emotional energy. Losing your cool makes you tired. Getting angry a lot messes with your health – Joyce Meyer

To act coolly, intelligently and prudently in perilous circumstances is the test of a man – and also a nation – Adlai E. Stevenson

It’s cool to have a well run, comfortable and inviting home – Anthea Turner

FINISHING STRONG – Joshua 24: 22—31

Just over two years ago it was made known to me that only two out of ten really finish strong with regard to the Lord and the things of God. It was quite a startling and shattering discovery, which brought some spiritual quickening and awakening to my being. A book was recommended entitled, “Finishing Strong” by Steve Farrar. In rereading and reviewing its contents and message one realised the tremendous need to be amongst those who win through to the end. It opened a tremendous line of thought to be meditated upon and worked through in life.

It could be said of Joshua, along with his colleague Caleb, they ‘finished strong.’ He made a great impact and contribution to his day and generation. God’s Word has it recorded: “And Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, and which had known the works of the Lord, that He had done for Israel” – v31. What a credible testimony to the fine example set by this courageous, godly and inspiring man! The Biblical record is there to stimulate later generations of believers to make sure that they imbibe his kind of spirit, dedication and devotion.

You have only one life to live and there is the need to make the most of it for God and His Kingdom. There will be no re-run where and when you can make the changes. It is imperative that you not only start well and run well but also to see that you finish well. No one should want to finish up a failure and on the scrap heap. The Lord will enable you to keep vision, faith, love, passion and commitment strong so that the end of your days is a glorious divine climax like Paul’s – 2 Timothy 4: 6-8. Be the type of person that leaves a powerful example for others to copy in terms of consecration to the end.
