Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and daily Meditations, working through the whole Bible. something to focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

“You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him” – Col 1: 21,22

The New International Version Bible says Colossians 1:21-22 this way… 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behaviour. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation. (NIV)

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross has done for each one of us what nothing else could do. Jesus completely reconciled us to His Father through His death so that He might present us holy and blameless to His Father. We are free from any accusation and the Father sees us completely spotless because of Jesus!

God sees us this way because of the shed blood of Jesus and not for anything that we have done to earn or deserve His favour. The next time a condemning thought comes to your mind, remember this promise and the incredible power of the cross. You are holy and completely free from blame because of Jesus Christ’s death!

“It is hard to stop a quarrel once it starts, so don’! let it begin. The Lord despises those who say that good is bad and bad is good”. Read: Proverbs 17: 14- 15

In these days of social and political correctness it is not difficult to identify some of the issues of life which once we called bad but now we dress up in the guise of goodness. Why, even our language is being corrupted so that words which once had a quite innocent meaning now mean something gross and offensive in the sight of God. I am referring to the word GAY! At one time gay just meant colourful, joyful abandonment, or just someone who was the life and soul of the party. Now this word has been hijacked to make something God says is bad as being good and socially acceptable. j

We now have the emergence of phrases like ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ designed to make genocide sound more acceptable. Then what about, ‘collateral damage‘? A military term validating the killing of civilians! We no longer have prostitutes but the more industrialised title of Sex Workers.

On a less sinister level our younger generation now say something is ‘wicked’ if it’s really good! This so called political correctness does not escape the notice of the Almighty who finds such reversals of truth despicable in the extreme.

No! BAD is still BAD and GOOD is still GOOD!

Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself – Walter Anderson

It’s time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and I’d much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure – Ernie Harwell

In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on – Robert Frost

Don’t dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer – Denis Waitley

SEEING WHAT GOD SEES – Deuteronomy 1

What an encouraging word from the Lord to really get things moving for God’s people – v8 “Behold I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which I sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give them and to their seed after them.” He evidently desired that they get a real vision of what was before them and take it as their own. The rights of possession belonged to the Lord and He had handed it to them so it was now up to them to claim their rights. They must see what He sees and know it was theirs.

The fathers had seen it afar off but now it was within their grasp. The time had come for them to make good what had been their faith and conviction. It reveals it was no vain dream, fantasy or empty imagination. All was occurring to their expectations so they must realise the divine vision. No longer was it a case of prophecy and promise: the opportunity was before them to make good all that had been assured. It was to be the period of entrance and possession.

The Christian Church must now view her situation from the divine viewpoint. What has been forecasted and prophesied for these particular days must come to fruition in terms of spiritual outpouring, blessing and expansion. God has brought us to this place and to view the land and to possess the mindset of being a possessor. The clarion call is to go forward personally and collectively into what He is revealing. Let there be no going back or holding back from what He is declaring and disclosing by His Holy Spirit and Word.
