Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and daily Meditations, working through the whole Bible. something to focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

“If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to promise” –Galatians : 3:29.

Every one of the promises that God made to Abraham now belongs to us because we belong to Jesus Christ and are now heirs according to the promise. Just think of that for a moment. You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus (Romans 8:17). Every promise that God made to Abraham is part of your own spiritual inheritance!

When God said to Abraham that He would be the father of many nations, and a blessing to many (Genesis 12), you were part of that promise. The New Living Translation says Galatians 3:29 this way… And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. (NLT)

May our God and Father give each one of us a revelation today about what it means to be an heir in His amazing kingdom. …An heir of God and a co-heir with our Elder Brother, Jesus Christ. There is no higher call, there is no greater destiny, than to be part of the eternal family of the living God.

Be encouraged by the words found in Galatians 4:7 – So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (WEB)

A LOOSE TONGUE – Rev. Bob Stevenson

“Dishonest money brings grief to all the family, but hating bribes brings happiness. A good man thinks before he speaks; the evil man pours out his evil words without a thought.

Read: Proverbs 15: 27, 28

A loose tongue, like a loose cannon, can cause untold harm and damage.

Have you ever heard anyone proudly boast that they just say it the way it is? They imagine that such an approach excuses them from the damaging repercussions their words might have on their hearers or whoever might happen to be the subject of their comments. words without a thought.

We are all going to be judged one day for the words we utter and we would all do well to remind ourselves of that fact every now and again!

The undisciplined tongue is the manifestation of an undisciplined spirit and none of us have been given the privilege of allowing that tongue to have free reign.
We also have to agree with James when he tells us in his epistle, that we all offend at some time or another in our words. (James 3:1-12)

However, the exhortation of our proverb for today encourages us to develop a disposition of thoughtfulness in our conversations with others, and not be like the loose cannons of this world who think they can say whatever they like, irrespective of the damage caused by their broadsides.

A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work – Colin Powell

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them – Walt Disney

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world – Harriet Tubman

You have to dream before your dreams can come true – A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

IT’S TIME TO SING – Exodus 15

It is so good to know that God really does give us something to sing about. God’s people had experienced such an intervention of the Lord that even Moses began to sing and his sister, Miriam, took a tambourine to lead the women into a dance of divine delight. It was a day when a magnificent song was born and everyone took
to singing. The Lord was the subject of the song and everyone became inspired as they made melody with great gladness to Him.

How wonderful it is to read and ponder on the fact that the Israelites had changed from praying and complaining to singing out their praise to Jehovah! This should have taught them once and for all about the greatness of their God and that He was with them to answer the most problematic conditions. The song focuses attention on the Lord and His doings. So from the outset and throughout they should have been a singing and praising people. This really showed what He could do at the last moment and that He had His plans for every emergency.

Be prepared to meditate in this day on what He has done for you, and begin to sing unto Him about the deeds he has wrought in your life. Singing uplifts the spirit and inspires faith. to a great extent. You were born to be a spiritual songster and to make melody in your heart to Him. As you are filled with His Holy Spirit, on a daily basis, this will become so – Ephesians 5: 18-20. Have a good day today praising the Lord. It will make all difference to you and your circumstances! The Lord will manifest Himself in some way that will prove most satisfying.
