Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and daily Meditations, working through the whole Bible. something to focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

“And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”- Galatians 4:6

The greatest gift that the Father could give us was the Spirit of His Son, the Spirit of Sonship. Each one who is born again, carries within their being the very life and nature of Jesus Christ Himself. Galatians 4:7 goes on to say… So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (WEB)

The Spirit of the Son that lives within us continually calls out ‘Abba Father!’. Abba is an Aramaic word for ‘father’ that little children would call out to their dads in New Testament times. It would be like us saying ‘papa’ or ‘daddy’ in the English language. Because we carry within our very being the Spirit of the Son, our spirit man continually cries out ‘Papa’ to God, whether we are aware of this cry in our heart or not.

I believe it delights our Heavenly Father when we cry out ‘Abba!’ to Him, for that is the very reason why God has given us the Spirit of His Son… so that He could be a Father to us (2 Corinthians 6:18). My prayer today is that we would all be aware of the cry that resonates deep in our heart today as we join with the Spirit of the Son that lives within us that calls out ‘Abba Father!’.

JOURNEY INTO SPACE – Rev. Bob Stevenson

“The road of the godly leads upward, leaving hell behind. The Lord destroys the possessions of the proud but cares for widows. The Lord hates the thoughts of the wicked but delights in kind words”. Read: Proverbs 15:24-26

Where are you on your journey? Are you already on a threshold of life as an adult? Are you already settled with the spouse and family of your dreams? Are you in mid life looking back on where you have come from and now realizing that there are less years ahead of you than there are behind you? Or Are you in the eventide of life just enjoying the fruits of all your lifetime labours? Or are you at a point in your journey where things may not have worked out as you had hoped for?

Whatever it is that life’s journey has left you with in material natural terms, the fact remains, that there is another journey we all have to make. Jesus said, “ln my Father’s house there are many mansions If it were not so l would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you so that where l am there you may be also”. (John 14:2) Whilst l do realize that our earthly journey IS important in every way and does without doubt have it’s highs and lows, for all of us there is another journey of eternal proportions that we do well to prepare for. As our proverb points out, the most important road we will ever take, leads onwards and upwards, and will leave hell far behind.

Be sure you are ready for your journey into space!

There is nothing permanent except change – Heraclitus

One of the most historic and dynamic events that ever took place in the history of Israel was when they came to crossing the Red Sea. It was so remarkable and memorable that it is constantly referred to within the pages of the Old Testament. They would never be able to forget this outstanding incident that occurred at a critical hour in their circumstances.

The narrative makes it clear that the Lord led them into an impossible situation of extreme circumstance – v2. It may have surprised the Israelites but not the Lord. He brought them to a place where they seemingly had nowhere to go. The impassable sea was before them. Mountainous regions were on either side and behind them were the pursuing Egyptian forces. There was, from the natural standpoint, no way of escape. The impact of these factors brought distress and despair amongst God’s people – vv10-12. They were very afraid and cried out to the Lord. Moses was able to give the decisive message and take remedial action and so the way was opened out through the sea. The impossible happened and Israel was saved.

Today you may be in such a condition, in a cul-de-sac, where there seems to be no way out. Be assured, look to the Lord for He has a way of doing things for His chosen in such straits. He will make a way for you. Anything can happen at anytime through His revelation and power and He will see you through. Life seems to be a closed in condition at times but the Lord is able to provide the miraculous breakthrough that leads into a brand new freedom and future.
