Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and daily Meditations, working through the whole Bible. something to focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

“For the eyes of Yahweh run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein you have done foolishly; for from henceforth you shall have wars” – 2 Chron 16:9

God is always watching us. His eyes are running to and fro throughout the entire world looking to strengthen those who belong to Him. He never abandons us or leaves us to our own devices. He is always there and an ever present help in our times of trouble. Even in the darkest times when you feel completely alone, you aren’t. God is with you and His heart is to strengthen those who belong to Him.

In Hebrews 12:1-2, it says that we are to fix our eyes on Jesus and run the race marked out for us. Think about this for a moment… When we are fixing our eyes on Jesus, He is fixing His eyes on us! Amazing huh? May the tangible reality of feeling God’s gaze become more and more real so that we might find the strength we need to live today.

Rev. Bob Stevenson

“If you search for good, you will find God’s favour; if you search for evil you will find God’s curse”.

Read Proverbs 11:28

I have just heard on my radio what appears to be the most ridiculous news item coming out of the UK. It is reported that a brain surgeon has been suspended by the Nottingham Area Health Authority for putting too many croutons in his soup in the staff canteen. This story is so bizarre to the British Parliament’s House of Lords, in an effort to clear up what appears to be, officialdom gone mad.
Somebody is obviously on the lookout to make cost cutting in the hospital budget. But searching for the evil of extra croutons in soup instead of all the good the brain surgeon can do, beggars belief.

You can find the worst or the best in anybody. You can focus on the negatives, as well as the positives, because they are both there. You can search for good or you can search for bad and each will bring their own reward. The choice is up to us. Do we want God’s favour or His curse? For me it’s His favour every time.

The Bible says “Search for the Lord whilst he may be found”. See Isaiah 55:6-8. Don’t get caught up with a mentality that’s always on the lookout for evil but rather that which is good, wholesome and of a good report.

The best preparation for good work tomorrow is to do good work today – Elbert Hubbard

All life demands struggle. Those who have everything given to them become lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of life. The very striving and hard work that we so constantly try to avoid is the major building block in the person we are today -Pope Paul VI

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work – Thomas A. Edison

The beginning is the most important part of the work – Plato

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life – Confucius

OVERSEEN BY GOD – Genesis 21: 14-21;

Although there was real problem in the household with regard to the two sons, the Lord shows His love and care even for Hagar. She is sent out into a seemingly desperate situation but God is there overseeing the whole affair.. The point of extremity comes when all the water was spent and it looked as if her son would die, then God steps in both with a word of assurance and a revelation of provision. There is to be a future for her son and so the relief came at the point of need.

If God could so oversee and care for this bondwoman and her son who were not in the covenant relationship that had been established with Abraham, how much more for those who are now in the unique covenant bond with Himself through Christ! It is good to be reminded of the fact that we have been bought from the slave market of sin through the blood of Christ to be His elect household. He watches diligently over each of His new offspring with intense affection. He will not leave you exposed to all the demands and extremes of life without expressing His affection, attention and action.

Live today knowing the Lord knows your whereabouts, your cry in the midst of a threatening circumstance. Believe He will speak and assure your future. God will adequately answer the problem that currently exists. Be assured, no one and nothing misses His eye or fails to touch His heart. Like Hagar, you may seem to be in a wilderness situation and all is of a threatening nature, remember, God beholds and will work on your behalf.
