Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and something to Focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

With Christ His Son, God the Father has called you to be a possessor; to inherit all that He has laid up in His Son for you. You have to learn to possess your spiritual possessions and in so doing your life and ministry will be fruitful and abounding and you will be able to bestow and share with others what is your lot. In your new relationship as a child of God you are to know your Father’s will, embrace it and see that He desires to open up your life so that you will experience and enjoy His Fatherhood to the full. In this life you can begin to know it and to anticipate how richer and greater it will be in the eternal world. You are not to exist as a pauper or beggar but be daily sensitive to all that He wills to bring about now, so that you will join with the psalmist saying in testimony: “He daily loadeth me with benefits” – Psalm 68: 19.

“I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me” – John 17: 23

For those reading this devotional thought who might not be familiar with this expression, this verse really, really amazes me! I can understand that God loves Jesus completely and without reservation because Jesus is His perfect Son. But to think that God the Father loves me exactly the same way that He loves Jesus? Wow!

The truth is that when we became born again, we were united with Christ in every way. In today’s Bible verse, Jesus describes it by saying… “I am in them, and you in me.” When our God and Father looks at you, He sees you through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

In Galatians 2:20, the Apostle Paul said “No longer I that lives, it is Christ that lives in me”. Because I am in Christ, and Christ is in me, the love that the Father has for Jesus is exactly the same love He has for me!

The truth is that there is nothing that we could do to make God love us any MORE than He does right now… And on the flip side of the same coin… There is nothing that we could ever do to make Him love us any LESS either! Don’t try to understand God’s love, just receive it like a little child! God is your Father and He loves you even as He loves Jesus!

SWEETHEARTS – Rev. Bob Stevenson

“Follow my advice, my son; always keep it in mind and stick to it. Obey me and live! Guard my word as your most precious possession. Write them down, and also keep them deep within your heart. Love wisdom like a sweetheart,” make her a beloved member of your family”.

Read; Proverbs: 7: 1-5 I don’t know if you have ever tried to write an original proverb that expresses some wisdom or observation that you have been able to encapsulate into a terse, pithy saying . Once you have had a go at doing it you realise it isn’t as easy as you thought it might be.

Solomon we are told wrote three thousand of them, many of which were about the acquiring of wisdom itself.

Here in the Living Bible translation he approaches once more the topic of taking good advice and here he exhorts us to love wisdom like a sweetheart or a beloved member of your family.

In the same way you want to embrace your sweetheart so we are to have the desire to embrace all that wisdom has to offer.

You can’t get enough opportunity to be with your sweetheart. Your attraction is so strong that you want to write down on paper all the lovely things about your sweetheart and you even carry his or her photograph everywhere you go. In addition to all this, your thoughts are constantly centred upon your sweetheart.

The message seems to be blatantly clear. Get into a love relationship with wisdom. As with your sweetheart, make regular daily contact with her and just enjoy the experience.

Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough – Og Mandino

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence – Confucius

A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others – Ayn Rand

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream . – C. S. Lewis
