Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and something to
Focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

The LORD would light you up with His Presence so that you know daily the delight of His company and input. Just as He drew near to two of His disciples on the Emmaus road following his resurrection, so He loves to come alongside His chosen followers in a personal manner to reveal Himself and His purposes. He comes to light up your day in every way so that you may know the wonder and worth of His Presence and to discover His choice programme and answers to the situations that you will be called to encounter. He is with you in a positive role, to render all the needful assistance so that you will sense you will always have done that which is best in your own interests and for His glory. So enjoy His company today, expect Him to contribute to all that you will have to face and deal with.

“Yahweh is righteous in all his ways, and gracious in all his works” – Psalm 145: 17

I really like how the NIV Bible says this verse… The LORD is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. (NIV) The NLT says that God is ‘filled with kindness’. Isn’t it wonderful that the God that we are in relationship with is not only righteous and holy but He is also the kindest person in the universe?

When Satan tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He actually planted a seed in them to question of the goodness of God. “Did God really say…” May we never fall for that trap! May we always keep in the forefront of our thoughts and prayers that our God and Father is good and His mercy endures forever.

. . . And may we continue to live a life of reverence and awe that our Heavenly Dad is righteous in all His ways and His heart is filled with love towards all that He has created.

PLAYING WITH FIRE – Rev. Bob Stevenson

“Can a man hold fire against his chest and not be burned? Can he walk on hot coal and not blister his feet? So is the man who commits adultery with another man’s wife.

Read: Proverbs: 6:27-35 Add New

It is quite amazing how this topic of sexual unfaithfulness keeps cropping up in the book of Proverbs. This time it is in the context of an adulterous relationship. The Bible compares its likeness to that of robbery, and inexcusable robbery at that! The facts and repercussions of this illicit activity are plain for all to see.

Firstly you rob another man or woman, as the case may be, of the preciousness and joys of ever again experiencing sexual intimacy with their partner.

Secondly you steal the sense of human dignity that comes out of making a life long commitment of faithfulness to another human being.

Thirdly you actually set your own course of self destruction with no possibility of making things right afterwards. At least a they can pay restitution, but the adulterer has no way of buying themselves out of the emotional wounds and scars left behind, or the disgrace that attaches itself to you, even in today’s liberal acceptance of sexual promiscuity.

Always remember, you can’t play with fire and not get burnt. The Bible says “Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. Do the same with any temptation to engage in adultery!
