welcome to this christian website

Sept 9th – 2015
Rev. E. Anderson

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 128,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and something to Focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

The simple but sure command by Christ to you in order to know a very fruitful and blessed life and ministry is to learn to abide and draw your sustenance from Him. You are a branch that has been divinely grafted in Him in order that you exist and experience the boundlessness of His daily inflow, which in turn develops into tremendous increase and abundance. Yours is no to be a sterile and stagnant condition but one that simply expands into something of obvious growth that you can be personally pleased and delighted with.

But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) – Eph 2: 4, 5

Today’s promise is the very core of the gospel message. Because Father God is rich in mercy, He has loved us with a love that is immeasureable. He has set a value on each one of our lives that is beyond our comprehension. In His great kindness, God saw fit to make us alive in Jesus Christ even when we were His enemies, dead in our sin.

By the unmerited favor of our God and Father and by the sacrifice of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, we are saved from eternal separation from the Godhead. The motivation for such a great salvation is simply the love that God has for us. We don’t know why He decided to love us and sacrifice all that He had to gain our love, we just know that He does.

Rev. Bob. Stevenson

“Honour the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income, and He will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with the finest wine”.

Read: Proverbs 3: 11-12

Those “Get Rich Quick” advertisements never seem to stop appearing in our newspapers and magazines. Alas the corresponding stories of “rip off merchants” keep occurring where the gullible or inexperienced investor loses their life savings or even worse.
Here is an investment strategy that if put in place, has the potential to provide the basis for a financial investment that will certainly bring it’s own reward.

Solomon says.” Honour the Lord with the first part of all your income. This means acknowledging your complete dependence on Him who is the
supernatural source of the following factors necessary for growth and fruitfulness:

– Dependence on the God given ability togenerate wealth for yourself.
– Dependence on the earth itself that enablesyou to produce your harvest. ’
– Dependence on God to create the right environment for the seed we sow to bring us increase, whatever that seed may be.
– Dependence on the growing process, which has been naturally put in place for all of us to take advantage of.
– Dependence on the climatic conditions necessary to cause seed to germinate and grow?

All of this is reward indeed, so let’s not forget it!

It was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels. – St. Augustine

True humility is not an abject, grovelling, self-despising spirit; it is but a right estimate of ourselves as God sees us. – Edwards

After crosses and losses, men grow humbler and wiser. Franklin

Those that are truly desirous to be owned and accepted by God will likewise desire not to be taken notice of nor applauded by men. – Henry
