welcome to this christian website

Sept 5th – 2015
Rev. E. Anderson

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 128,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Just a Thought by Aaron Linford. Choice Quotations and something to Focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

It is important for you walk with the LORD on a daily basis and know what He requires of your life and work on this basis. You are neither to live in the past or ahead of time but simply maintain a constant, hourly relationship with Him so that you might achieve readily His purpose for your being. Don’t let what has been be a drag on you and neither load your mind and heart with all that may lie ahead. The link up that you have with Him is meant to be always fresh, up-to-date and fulfilling and this is how He has ordained it to be. Without difficulty and strain you will be able to effectively deal with all the people you meet, all the problems and crises that may arise and have choice answers at all times. So let today be special with an abundant sense of His presence and input and a full co-operation on your part.

”How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum! If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you” – Psalm 139: 17-18

Have you ever tried to count the number of grains of sand there are on a seashore? While it might be technically possible to do, I think it is very close to the realm of impossible. There is simply too much sand to be able to even begin to count.

King David makes a declaration that the thoughts of God toward him literally outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore. Basically I think what David was saying was that God is continually thinking of him! Non stop… all the time!

If we try to comprehend this promise with our human understanding, we will short circuit for sure because it does not seem possible that God would be constantly thinking of us. I am so thankful that our Heavenly Father is not limited by our own human limitations! The truth is that He can do whatever He wants, however He wants to do it.

Rev. Bob. Stevenson

“For the Lord grants wisdom! His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding. He grants good sense to the godIy . . . He is their shield, . . . He shows right from wrong, how to find the right decision every time. For wisdom and truth will enter the very centre of your being, filling your life with joy”.

Read: Proverbs 2: 6- 15

Any education system, which neglects to acknowledge the true source of all wisdom, will only produce a generation of cleaver devils. Too smart for their own good and too self- opinionated for everyone else’s good. Such a system promulgates man to be his own saviour, set on some self improving treadmill, ultimately leading to a disillusioned utopia.

NO! The only sensible approach is to embrace and accept the following:
– ‘The Lord grants wisdom’ — Because it’s in his nature to give.
– ‘His every word gives knowledge and understanding’ — Because he knows what is in our best interest.
– ‘It is God who grants good sense‘ — Because he can be totally objective and unbiased.
– ‘It is God who is able to guard & to guide him in the way of truth and the life
– ‘He helps us to distinguish RIGHT from WRONG‘ — Because he has the power to see beneath the surface of hidden motives.
– Through Him we are able to make the right decision – every time!’ — Because he sees and knows the path ahead of us.
This kind of wisdom eventually becomes the very fabric of your life. And to cap it all off you get the common sense to avoid wrong and bad influences.

A woman must be a genius to create a good husband. – Balzac

Genius is only great patience. – Buffon

If we can seek, find, and evoke the Spirit and teaching of Christ in men in their daily lives, we might more nearly approximate the practical genius of that first-century faith, and in Christ Himself discover for ourselves the transforming power of God. — Henry H. Fowler
