WELCOME TO THIS CHRISTIAN WEBSITE

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 128,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Just a Thought by Aaron Linford. Choice Quotations and something to Focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

AN IN WORD FOR YOU TODAY

The LORD is indispensable to your life, work and future. As you seek and allow His love, grace and power to work in and through you, so you will become indispensable to the outworking of a choice and fruitful plan in your daily living. You cannot exist or live apart from Him so much are you dependent upon Him. But the LORD has chosen in His love, wisdom and grace to make you a key part of His eternal purposes. He will do all on His side to ensure your success and enable you respond in a responsible manner and measure and so achieve some very beautiful things. Face up to the fact, you are not in this world to while away your time and spend it on meaningless and worthless pursuits. It is essential for you to humbly sense your importance to Him and permit it to influence all your lifestyle, now.

A GOLDEN PROMISE

”In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” – Gen 1:1

Right at the beginning of the Book of all books, the Bible says… “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” This statement alone could be enough to bring peace to any unsettled heart. God is in control. He has always been in control.

He is the One who spoke the entire universe into existence with just the sound of His voice. He is Almighty God. He is the All Powerful God. He is the All Knowing God. Whenever you feel that your life is spinning off its axis, be comforted in knowing that our God and Father has always been, and always will be in control.

This is the same Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent Creator who has decided to love you with all His heart (1 John 3:1). No matter what forces oppose you today, be comforted in knowing that the God who spoke the universe into existence is in your corner!

WISDOM THAT WORKS
IGNORANCE

Rev. Bob Stevenson

“I called you so often but you didn’t come. I reached out to you but you paid no attention. You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered. So I will laugh when you are in trouble . . . when calamity overcomes you . . . . when you are engulfed by trouble, and when anguish and distress overwhelm you.

Read: Proverbs 1: 24-28 There is a big difference between not knowing something and being ignorant. Ignorance is the wilful rejection of knowledge. It is a disposition
so devoid of a desire to learn, that we label such a person ignorant.

Ignorant because they have the same capacity as anyone else to become informed, instructed or enlightened, but arrogantly refuse to let anybody teach them anything.

This is the kind of individual our proverb is talking about. They are incorrigible. They are intractable. They are ‘ignoramuses’ of the highest order and that is why the Bible says that wisdom will ‘laugh’ when their calamity eventually comes.

You see, wisdom doesn’t have a “take it or leave it” attitude. Wisdom doesn’t say, I’ll tell you once and that‘s it”. She calls and calls and calls.

CHOICE QUOTATIONS

The future that we study and plan for begins today. – Fischer

If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise. – Robert Fritz

The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, who ever he is. – C.S. Lewis

Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree. – Luther
