Rev. E. Anderson

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 129,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Just a Thought by Aaron Linford. Choice Quotations and something to Focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.

You were birthed into the kingdom of God that you might truly become someone of worth, and overcome and know victory over the principal forces of sin, self and Satan. This trio of enemies can be conquered and mastered through the indwelling Christ as He is allowed His way, say and sway in every situation. Instead of being a victim and allowing yourself to be victimised by these forces, you can be complete master and triumph at a daily level. Through the agencies of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, the blood of Christ and Prayer, you are more than a match against all that opposes. As you sing the songs of spiritual triumph no enemy will be able to withstand you but you shall enjoy the immense blessing of conquest continually. “Be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might” so you will have wonderful triumphs today at all levels.

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8: 31

This is one of my favorite promises of all time! If God is for us, who can be against us. I feel like there is nothing that I can add to this amazing promise. The God who created the universe, the Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent Everlasting Father is on your side. He is for you! He has placed all of heaven’s resources on your side simply because you are joined to Jesus Christ and are part of His family.

In this orphan world system, many things will oppose us, but none of these things can possibly stand against our God and Father… for nothing will ever separate you from His love. Nothing! Death can’t. Life can’t. Angels can’t. Demons can’t. The present. The future.

JUST A THOUGHT by Aaron Linford

The astronomer Galileo found that the telescope opened to him a vast universe. The star-spangled sky became to him a fuller realm of wonder. His vision was extended manifold – but even then the boundaries of the cosmos were beyond his view (and in spite of advanced modern technique, they still are).

His discoveries changed his whole concept of God’s creation, and eventually of scientific outlook universal. He endured much criticism and opposition, especially from theologians, but truth prevails, and Galileo now stands as a pioneer of astral progress, while his detractors are forgotten as a bad joke.

The Bible is a spiritual telescope. It makes distant ideas come closer, it peers into the unknown future. In its functioning the vast universe of truth becomes more clear to us; still a wonder, but less a mystery.

The Preface to the Revised English Bible closes with these words: “God has yet new light and truth to break forth from his word. The Committee prays that the new version will prove to be a means to that end”. In other words, an instrument to penetrate into the cosmos of wisdom and understanding of life’s meaning and destiny.

“I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my meditation.” (Ps 119299). The word of God gave the psalmist vision beyond what tradition or philosophy could.

“None can believe how powerful prayer is, and what it is able to effect, but those who have learned it by experience.”- Martin Luther

“I fear John Knox’s prayers more than any army of ten thousand men” –Mary, Queen of Scotland

“Fear not that your life shall come to an end, but rather that it shall never have a beginning” –John Henry Neuman

“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light” — Plato

“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself” – F.D. Roosevelt
