WELCOME TO THIS CHRISTIAN WEBSITE

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 128,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Just a Thought by Aaron Linford. A Choice Quotation and a miniature message from the Psalms that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful

A PROPHETIC WORD FOR YOU

Don’t simply live and linger under and in your success but realise there is so much of worth yet to be done and fully wrought out and accomplished. Be thankful, humble and inspired at what you have been able to see fulfilled, but do not rest or gloat in your laurels achieved. They serve to create, cultivate and advance your immediate service and ministry that will stir and move you further to greater horizons and success. Learn to know, accept and move into the expectations of your LORD for He has supreme plans and purposes to complete which will manifest and honour Him to a greater degree. So do not fall short of all He has determined so you will be satisfied and blessed. Besides this, you will become a notable example for others to emulate!

A GOLDEN PROMISE

“The meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace” – Psalm 37: 11.

JUST A THOUGHT by Aaron Linford
GOD’S TRAFFIC LIGHTS
Someone has said that in seeking the will of God we should think of traffic lights: RED for stop, AMBER for caution, GREEN for go. And do not drive on until the green light shows, otherwise a crash may occur. Let me nominate three examples.
STOP – “cease to do evil” said Isaiah to his people (Isa 1:16). The word “evil” means to be tumultuous or raging and speaks of the gathering speed of undisciplined behaviour – “keep a hold on yourself, put the brake on your passions, don’t jump the lights”.
CAUTION – “Ponder the path of thy feet”, said the wise man (Prov 4:20). There are times when we should pause and consider our ways. Yet, while we ponder, let us prepare to move when the light shows green.

GO – Jesus said, “Go…..” (Mark 16:15). When He gives the signal we should drive on. Christianity is a “go” life. Though we observe the red and honour the amber, they are but part of the Gospel-traffic scene. The Holy Spirit sometimes says “No”! (Acts 16:6,7), sometimes “wait” (Luke 24:29), but more often “Go” (Acts 8:26). We do well to follow His lights.

A CHOICE QUOTATION

“Full assurance is not essential to salvation, but it is essential to satisfaction. May you get it-may you get it at once? May you never be satisfied to live without it” –
Spurgeon

A MINIATURE MESSAGE – Taken from the Psalms

Reasons for Thanksgiving – Psalm 9

There is always good reason why praise and thanksgiving should be offered to the Lord. It is mind and heart set that should always be present and promoted so that its spiritual advantages will be known. This psalm offers a number of things that inspire this attitude and action of life. It has to be done with fullness of being and heart – v1.

1/. THERE HAS TO BE THE CONSTANT REALISATION OF HIS MARVELLOUS WORKS – v1
There is the call to remember and consider Him and all His wondrous doings and as a consequence, praise and thanksgiving will erupt and b in evidence.

2/. THERE WILL EVER BE THE ADMINISTRATION OF HIS JUDGMENT – vvv7, 8, 16
Those pursued by evil people that seek one’s demise and destruction, they will not succeed because the Lord is on their track to encounter and execute His sentence.

3/. THERE WILL BE THE IMMEDIACY OF HIS PRESENCE TO AFFORD HELP – vv9-14
The Lord is ever around to act as a refuge and to make known all is well. There is nothing and no one He cannot deal with.

4/. THERE WILL BE THE ULTIMATE FAILURE OF EVIL MEN AND THEIR DEVICES – vv15-18
The opposition falls to their own evil devices, trapped in their own plans and workings. Neither they nor their intentions must not cause concern.

5/. THERE WILL BE THE DISCLOSURE OF HIS SOVEREIGNITY – vv19, 20
There is no need to worry about the conclusion, the Lord will be vindicated and so will those who simply trust Him.
