WELCOME TO THIS CHRISTIAN WEBSITE

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 128,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Just a Thought by Aaron Linford. A Choice Quotation and a miniature message from the Psalms that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful

A PROPHETIC WORD FOR YOU

Languishing in defeat and seeking sympathy will get you nowhere; in fact, it will cause further plummeting that can become dangerous. You need to get a firm grip and hold of yourself in God and begin positive steps of faith to immediately commence to speak words of faith and power. Seek the assistance of the Holy Spirit and major on the promises that the LORD has given in the Scriptures. Such will be a heavenly tonic and strength to your inward being and you will start to take authority of this which seeks to debilitate you. You need to pronounce in the face of the adversity and unexplained mystery that the LORD is in command and intends to give you personal triumph and see you through. Be like David, who said, “I shall yet praise Him who is the health of my countenance , and my God”.

A GOLDEN PROMISE
Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage. And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say on the LORD” – Psalm 27: 14

JUST A THOUGHT by Aaron Linford
TEPID IS TORPID
Rev. 3: 6

“You make me sick”, said the Lord to the Church of Laodicea. They were well off in material benefits, but lacking in holy fervour. Their complacency induced a baleful torpidity so hateful to God.

The Lord even preferred frigidity to this lukewarmness – so He said. Look at it like this: hot water is a tonic, cold water is refreshing, but lukewarm water is an emetic.

But this church was blind to its condition – “wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked” – and that was the Lord’s assessment. Worst of all, He was outside. What a parody! Christianity without Christ?

But the Lord loved them, so he rebuked them. Did His words fire them up? We don’t know. But one thing we do know, that if Christ is not central to our lives, all other apparent benefits may prove but bane’s. It ample goods – it is a heart burning with love to Christ, fired with fervent zeal, a hot-gospeller in the truest sense of the word.

A CHOICE QUOTATION

“There is not a heart but has its moments of longing, yearning for something better, nobler, holier than it knows now” – Beecher

“Out of the lowest depths there is a path to the loftiest heights” – Carlyle

A MINIATURE MESSAGE – Taken from the Psalms

THE GLORY OF THE CREATOR – Psalm 8
Ernest Anderson

The mind, heart and lips of the psalmist are filled with the sight and knowledge of the majesty and sovereignty of the glorious Creator. It is a tribute of praise and worship to the One who is altogether worthy of such from all His creation and creatures.

1/. THE GLORY IS NOTED IN HIS VAST CREATION – vv1-3
There is much infinite glory to be witnessed in the heavens but the glory of the Lord excels such –v1. Who can measure the omniscience and omnipotence that has gone into the production of this planet and the universe! He is to be honoured and glorified just in the sheer knowledge of all the wonderful acts of God in His creation.

2/. THE GLORY IS OBSERVED IN THE CREATION OF MAN – vv3-8
The psalmist is not demeaning man but shows the honoured situation he has been placed in by the LORD, therefore, there ought to be recognition of Him in a worshipful manner. He has clothed and crowned man as the head and ruler of his creation, so there ought to be a true spirit of appreciation and adoration of Him. A situation of splendour and majesty should exist that pleases both the LORD and man. We must make sure we honour Him as He has honoured us!

He cannot but conclude in the way he commenced. – v9. There is to be an overflowing acknowledgement of praise and worship to the LORD to whom it is rightly due.
