welcome – christian website

Rev. E. Anderson

Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 128,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.

I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of a Prophetic Word for Today, A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Just a Thought by Aaron Linford. Also, a Choice Quotation and a miniature message from the Psalms that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful

The time and occasion to sing and make melody to the LORD is when you are least in the mood for it, especially when your spirit is in a low and in a sad condition. To break the misery and melancholy that would grip you, ii is broken with the will to focus on the LORD and to sing a song of thanksgiving and worship to Him. Why not make today one of joyful song unto Him and know the impact of its expression. It will more than lift you out of your self, you will be ushered into the presence of Him who will work wonders for you and make His presence and blessing known in your immediate situation. You will take flight as you use your wings of prayer and praise and leave behind that which would puts fetters on you.

“Commit your way unto the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass” – Psalm 37: 5

JUST A THOUGHT by Aaron Linford

Unbelievers think we are odd, cynics say we are mad, but the truth is we are not off centre, but twin-centred. Our life revolves around two focal points – Calvary and the Upper Room of Pentecost.

They call us eccentric: but eccentricity is power. In mechanics an eccentric crank-shaft can convert backward- and-forward motion into rotary motion. This is the element that turns piston-power into wheel-power – the basis of motor transport.

And so our seemingly strange behaviour is really the source of our power, the driving force of our Christian testimony. We are not really odd, we are just different.

But this difference – the saving power of the Cross, and the potential energy of the Holy Spirit – propels us into a realm of holy service and gives us spiritual drive. Some may call it “madness” (Acts 26:24) but it is the sanest of experiences, “wise unto salvation” (2 Tim 3:15).

“He is incapable of truly a good action who finds not a pleasure in contemplating the good actions of others.””- Lavater

“If you want to live more you must master the art of appreciating the little, everyday blessings of life. This is not altogether a golden world, but there are countless gleams of gold to be discovered in it if we give our minds to them” – Porter

A MINIATURE MESSAGE – Taken from the Psalms

Ernest Anderson

Taken from the Spirit Filled Bible

7:14-17 the Praise Pathway. This short passage contains two truths about praise.

First: praise is the answer when wickedness and iniquity come against the believer. Temptation to sin and live wickedly will soon disappear in the face of sincere, powerful, and audible praise. This will bring the glorious presence of Jesus, driving out the desire to identify withnthe sinful act and/or thought.

Second, in v17 the writer declares, “I will praise the LORD”. Praise is an act of thw ill. It is not merely an exuberance overflowing with words, but a self-induced declaration of thanksgiving- a sacrifice. The praiser chooses to praise.

Learn this about praise: 1/. Do not wait until conditions and circumstances are favourable, but 2/.. Offer a thanksgiving of praise because God is worthy and it is right.
