May God Smile on You
by Jon Walker

“May the Lord smile on you” - Numbers 6:25 (NLT)

*** *** *** ***

The smile of God is the goal of life.

Since pleasing God is the first purpose of your life, your most important task is to discover how to do that. The Bible says, “Figure out what will please Christ, and then do it” (Ephesians 5:10 MSG).

Fortunately, the Bible gives us a clear example of a life that gives pleasure to God. The man’s name was Noah.

In Noah’s day, the entire world had become morally bankrupt. Everyone lived for their own pleasure, not God’s. God couldn’t find anyone on earth interested in pleasing him, so he was grieved and regretted making man. God became so disgusted with the human race that he considered wiping it out.

But there was one man who made God smile. The Bible says, “Noah was a pleasure to the Lord” (Genesis 6:8 LB).

God said, “This guy brings me pleasure. He makes me smile. I’ll start over with his family.” Because Noah brought pleasure to God, you and I are alive today.

Over the next few days, we will learn from Noah’s life the five acts of worship that make God smile.

God smiles when we love him supremely. Noah loved God more than anything else in the world, even when no one else did! The Bible tells us Noah “consistently followed God’s will and enjoyed a close relationship with him” - Genesis 6:9 NL).

This is what God wants most from you: a relationship! It’s the most astounding truth in the universe: our Creator wants to fellowship with us. God made you to love you, and he longs for you to love him back. He says, “I don’t want your sacrifices – I want your love; I don’t want your offerings – I want you to know me” - Hosea 6:6 LB.

Can you sense God’s passion for you in this verse? God deeply loves you and desires your love in return. He longs for you to know him and spend time with him. This is why learning to love God and to be loved by him should be the greatest objective of your life.

Nothing else comes close in importance. Jesus called it the greatest commandment. He said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment” - Matthew 22:37-38 NIV.

Meet the Ministers introduced by Rev. E. Anderson

Lawrence ,Getsie  and Binty Arumainayagam

Pastor Lawrence has been in full time ministry for 20 years. He is married to Getsie for 15 years and has two children, Benn (14 years) and Binti (9 years). Lawrence and Getsie serve as pastors, teachers as well as care for 210 needy children in six different locations in India. Lawrence did his commerce degree in India (1985) studied at Assemblies of God Bible College (1988), UK and at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, Philippines (1992).

ZION ASSEMBLIES OF GOD

From 1988 though 2002 Lawrence served as an associate pastor at Zion Assemblies of God Churches along with his father Peter Arumainayagam in the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Lawrence and Peter saw from one worship service grew to three. Pastor Charles Finny joined the ministry at Zion to provide further leadership and direction. Zion has grown both in quality and in numbers over the years. It has now several branch churches in three southern states of India.

INTOUCH FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL

In the year 2002 Lawrence and Getsie felt the direction of the Lord to pioneer a new ministry which would primarily focus the youth of this generation.  With the blessing of Zion’s leadership, they founded Intouch Fellowship International (theintouchfellowship.com). Over the next five years, they saw nearly 4 thousands of young people walk through their doors.  Many lives were changed by the powerful Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. They have now planted youth churches in Bangalore (Karnataka), and Trichur (Kerala).  Praying, planning and preparations are going on plant another youth church in Chennai (capital of Tamil Nadu) from September 2008. The vision is to plant two new youth churches in all the educational centres of India. The vision of Intouch Fellowship is to REACH, TEACH AND RELEASE.

LIVING WORD BIBLE COLLEGE

In the year 2002 a month after the beginning of Intouch Fellowship, Living Word Bible College was born.  It was a long dream coming to fulfilment. Rev Stephen and Rev. Jean Liang from the U.S.A. joined Lawrence with the vision to train the called young people. Soon many ministers who never had a privilege to proper biblical training joined to be trained.

After completing her studies at LWBC, Getsie joined the faculty to teach and train. At present we have eight full time staff with over many years of ministry experience help in the training. So far LWBC graduated well over 100 ministers in the six years of history.

LWBC began its first onsite training at KARAIKAL (a coastal town in Tamil Nadu) in the year 2007. Thirty five students completed their first year of study and received their certificate in Biblical Studies. Many of them are involved in church planting in the area.

OPEN HANDS INTERNATIONAL (INDIA)

Lawrence had the privilege of serving along with his father Peter Arumainayagam in setting up the children homes since 1983. Serving the children and ministering to the needy and the poor had been in Lawrence and Getsie’s heart for many years. They began a new charity called Open Hands International (India).  OHI is now responsible for the six children homes. OHI works with many other charities with similar aims and goals. OHI carried out many relief works in emergency situations such as earthquakes, and recently in the Tsunami affected areas.

OHI is currently building a children home for the boys and girls from Tribal areas in Kalrayan Hills, in central Tamil Nadu. Another home for girls is just started to cater for girls who otherwise will never have the opportunity to education in their lives. An acre of land is bought and plans are underway to build a brand new facility for 50 needy girls.

Wisdom’s Ways presented by the late Rev. A. Linford

Rev. A Linford, before his decease, was recognized as a good, great and interesting Bible teacher in the Assemblies of God Fellowship for many years. He was a well-loved Bible College lecturer and writer that bequeathed a tremendous amount of Biblical material in his generation. What a legacy he has left to be researched and brought forth to refresh our day! We shall be using such on this site: His writings from the book of Proverbs and also his Editorials that he wrote for the Redemption Tidings when he was its editor. I trust you will enjoy and appreciate his inspired teaching.

THE PRIORITY OF WISDOM

“Wisdom is the principal thing” – Proverbs 4:5-9

It is clear that this wisdom is more than intelligent agility, shrewd awareness or practical ability; it is spiritual insight resulting in deep understanding of the moral principles of true living and ethical behaviour; to know, to understand, to do the will of God, especially as revealed in His word.

·          The primacy of wisdom. The wisdom of God is incarnated in verbal form- “the words of my mouth”; men of understanding recognise its essence. Our attitude to God’s life-pattern determines the quality of our living. Negatively we are to “forget it not” by defective attention, nor “forsake her” by deserting action. Positively, we must “exalt-her” with adulation, and “embrace her” with affection. We must not merely praise wisdom, we must practice it. How interesting that “wisdom” is referred to as “her”. Is this a blow to masculinity? The meaning is that wisdom will be a mother to all who love her. Just as a mother’s breasts supply her offspring with a healthful, balanced and complete diet, so wisdom will nourish and nurture our souls.

·          The price of wisdom. “With all thy getting” means purchase at whatever price, for its worth exceeds all material riches. The price is in adopting sound doctrine, applying self-discipline and avoiding self-deception. We must deny self to follow Jesus - the Wisdom of God.

·          The profit of wisdom. Wisdom offers six gifts to those who gain her. “Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee” by guiding thee from evil paths; “love her and she shall keep thee” by guarding thee from evil powers; “exalt her, and she shall promote thee” by building thy life on sound moral foundations; “she shall bring thee to honour when thou doest embrace her” by creating confidence in thy ability and reliability; “she shall give to thine head an ornament of grace” by commanding the blessing of Heaven and the favour of the world; “a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee” by receiving praise from God and plaudits from men. When a man displays wisdom in his diction and in his direction, his friends and acquaintances, and even his opponents, tend to respect his judgments, rely on his promises and applaud his successes.

PRAYER:

May I make thy will my priority today, 0 Lord!

THE DEVIL’S GRANARY

It was a dream. A puzzled Pentecostal found himself in a strange and weird place. Before him stood a large building. He tried the door. It opened into what looked like a vast storehouse. Piled on all sides were great sacks, most of them stuffed to bursting. But near the doorway lay one that was almost empty. He was about to investigate when a loud voice startled him; he turned, and found himself face to face with the devil.

“How did you get in here?” was his angry demand.

“I tried the door,” was the meek reply. “it was unlocked, so I walked in. Sorry if I trespassed.”

“You’ve no business here. Don’t you know it’s private?”

“All right, but I have apologized,” said the man, getting a little bolder. “Before I go, would you mind telling me what is in all these sacks?”

“No I” roared the devil. Then he hesitated, and continued, “But since you’ve seen all this you may as well know the rest. This is my granary. Those sacks are full of seeds that I sow in the hearts of men. What a collection!” He rubbed his hands with glee. “Oh, what a collection avarice, malice, spite, falsehood, lust, greed, pride, arrogance, gluttony, laziness - ho! ho! ho!”

“But what of this sack that’s almost empty?” enquired the intruder?

“Get out! That’s one of my deepest secrets,” replied the devil with great heat.

“But do tell me.” pleaded the Pentecostal as he made for the door.

“You cheeky — -. But hold on. For your impertinence I’ll tell you. These are my most useful seeds - seeds of discouragement. I sow them again and again - they seldom fail to spring up. Many a promising field has been blighted by this weed. It’s terrific!” The devil’s face glowed with evil delight as he uttered these words almost to himself.

“But begone!” he snapped, coming to himself.

“One last thing,” said the intruder. “Are there any hearts in which these seeds cannot be sown?”

The devil was silent for a moment. then went on: “You may as well know. I cannot sow the seeds of discouragement in a praising heart.”

The dreamer awoke: but he never forgot the lesson.

WHY PEOPLE NEED TO BECOME CHRISTIANS

Reading John 1: 35-51

Introduction

EVIDENT FEATURE: One cannot escape the fact that Christianity features very strongly in this world. Whether a person agrees or disagrees with it or not it has an undeniable, strong presence and influence upon society world-wide.

RECOGNISED TRUTH: Above everything else, Christianity has in the main to do with Christ and the Christian Church is called upon to be a true representation of Him. Griffith Thomas wrote about with the title: ‘Christianity is Christ’ and that really expresses the truth concerning it. Take Christ out of the word and you have I – anity, and such is not a good option. To get an honest discernment and judgment on the matter Christ, His life and work must be given true appraisal.

GOOD QUESTION: Why do people need to become Christians? There must be an answer of worth that is relevant to every person that ought to be fully known and understood. When the right answers are given then one is compelled and constrained to give Christ the opportunity of showing up and proving Himself as He has done to and for others.

1.      BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST IS THE PERSON REALLY WORTH KNOWING

Recently in a Countdown show a contestant was asked if he had the opportunity of meeting an important person to talk to and ask questions of, who would he chose. The presenter was taken aback when the reply was, Jesus Christ. When asked why Him. The man replied believed He would be able to provide some choice facts that would grip his attention etc.

He is the best quality person that has lives, and still does by right of resurrection, and is worth knowing and building a relationship with Him. He is the most dynamic, wise, loving, joyful etc., etc., individual that one could meet and who offers the choicest things in life. Sense the excitement of two young men as they make a first time discovery of Him – ‘We have found the Christ’ – vv41, 45, 46. You need to find out for yourself!!! The best thing in life is to be switched on and tuned in to Christ.

2.      BECAUSE YOU NEED TO BE YOUR SINFUL NATURE, PRACTISE AND GUILTY STATE

The Bible makes the truthful point about the state of every human being irrespective of race, colour, sex etc., that ‘all have sinned and all are sinners’ Romans 3: 23. None can squirm or worm their way out of this evident truth and fact. It must be effectively dealt with and it is Jesus Christ who came to deal with this issue.

The Christian message provides the perfect and absolute answer in Christ’s death and resurrection. Through being our substitute in death He has made it possible for all men to be forgiven and cleansed from their sin. It says in Romans 5: 8 ‘God commendeth His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us’, and 2 Corinthians 5: 21 that ‘He hath made Christ to be sin for us who knew no sin’. Christ became our sin offering and sacrificed Himself for us to free us from the guilt and penalty of sin.

BUT He rose again from the dead to prove what He did on the Cross was real and true and then to offer to come and live in all who will receive Him thus providing the power to live over the domination of sin. Christ makes sinners into saints by His personal indwelling of life.

3.      BECAUSE A NEW LIFE AND LIFESTYLE IS OBTAINED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

He affords the opportunity to possess a dynamic life that enables a person to live in a brand new fashion that is much better and more productive. He comes to bring a fresh inspiration to existence and makes it more meaningful, profitable and pleasurable. Heed His promise: ‘I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly’ – John 10: 10. Someone once said: Life with a capital L. he introduces spiritual values that  bless and heighten the natural.

4.      BECAUSE THE GIFTS AND POTENTIAL OF A PERSON CAN ONLY BE PURELY RELEASED AND MAXIMISED THROUGH HIM

He takes hold of very ordinary and common people and shows how he can employ and exploit them in finest ways to their highest good. Average and nominal folk are willingly and successfully impacted and used and affect history in a great manner – e.g. A fisherman by the name of Peter, a cobbler by the name of William carey and Smith Wigglesworth a Yorkshire plumber etc.

5.      BECAUSE HE IS THE ONE THAT PROMISES A GLORIOUS ULTIMATE DESTINY

The prospects that Christ offers to all who are His genuine believers and followers are incredible – yes, out of this world. Not only does He commit and care for each one now, He is planning an eternal future that no one can afford to miss out on.  He is planning a glorious return to earth to resurrect and rapture the dead and the living Christians and take them to His residence in heaven – see John 14: 1-3; 1 Corinthians 15; 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18.

Paul states things quite excitedly in 1 Corinthians 2; 9, 10 – ‘Eye has not seen , nor ear  heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things that God hath prepared for those who love Him’.

CONCLUSION

The great challenge that comes through Christ and all He has accomplished: one cannot afford not to be a Christian. You need to choose  Christ today.

WORRY WARS

Rob Parsons lets his imagination run wild

There are four basic emotions: anger, fear, happiness and sadness. I wonder which of them affects us most. I think for many us it is fear. The strange thing is that so often it’s hard to put our finger on what we are actually afraid of; it’s simply that somewhere deep inside us there is an ever-present gnawing anxiety. I remember my children reading the ‘Mr Men’ series of books. One of the characters was called Mr. Worry.

This dear man was plagued by fear. He would worry about his car, his dog, his house, his dinner. And when he had nothing to worry about, he got even more concerned for he was sure he had missed something important – and that bothered him more than anything.

I sympathise with Mr. worry. Sometimes when I am lying in bed in the morning I imagine having a conversation with somebody. They say something that annoys me and I reply angrily; they shoot back a stunning comment and I deliver a withering riposte. Then suddenly my thoughts run away with me and I start to worry about it all. And then, just as a headache is beginning to form over my right eye, I realise that the whole thing has occurred in my mind. Nobody has said anything nasty to me at all. I have not actually had a row with anybody. In fact, there is no real problem – and it’s probably it’s time to get out of bed.

But that’s only one of hundreds of times I’ve had those ‘runaway thoughts’. I’ve had them before annual church meetings, when I have imagined battles between opposing camps. (The actual events often turned out to be far less entertaining). And I’ve had ‘runaway thoughts’ about my health. In fact, when I was a child we had something in our home called ‘The Doctor’s Book’ which allowed you to look up the symptoms of various ailments. The only problem was that every time I consulted the thing, I became convinced I not only had the illness I had looked up, but the one facing page as well.

I had ‘runaway thoughts’ when my children were teenagers and they were a little late coming in at night. About ten minutes after their curfew I would smile nervously at my wife Dianne and start to make some tea saying, ‘He’ll be in soon.’ And then, just as I was filling up the kettle, my thoughts would race off and within moments I could imagine police cars pulling up at my door, hospitals ringing me with news of accidents, or phone calls from Gretna Green saying, ‘We’ve tied the knot. Do you want to chip in some money for the honeymoon?’

Jesus said a fascinating thing about fear: ‘Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own’ – Matthew 6: 34. He was being practical and saying in essence, ‘Don’t worry about tomorrow because you have enough to worry about today.’ So many of our ‘runaway thoughts’ – ‘future fears’ – may never materialise. But we’ve often spent so long worrying about them, they have drained us. Mark twain said, ‘Most of my tragedies have never happened to me.’

The early explorers used to draw maps with boundaries as far as they had actually ventured, and then they would write along the edge of the map: ‘Beyond this there may be dragons.’ They had never seen a dragon, and there had never had been a dragon in any of the new places they had managed to penetrate, but beyond the edge of the map was the future – and the future was unknown. Actually, when they eventually got to the new territories, they found these were often places of wonderful beauty, rich resources, and staggering opportunity. But until then these undiscovered lands were represented by six words on the edge of a map: ‘Beyond this there may be dragons.’

The Bible tells us not to live our lives like this – allowing fear to take over. It says, ‘. . .take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ’ – 2 Corinthians 10: 5. I wonder if part of that could involve catching those thoughts before they run away with us.

GOD’S RECIPE FOR A HAPPY LIFE  Part 2

Last week we saw how God says in Psalm 37 “Fret not over evildoers”.   God continually commands us not to worry, but to trust in Him.  And that’s this week’s ingredient – Trust in God.

Now a lot of people think that it is all nonsense and pie in the sky to talk about trusting God.  How can He help when He is – so they say, so far away.   But the Bible tells us that he is not far from every one of us.  If God seems far away from you – as someone once said, “guess who moved?”  Maybe you have moved away from Him?  If you don’t put your trust in God, then you are bound to worry, but worry does no good whatsoever.

It does not help to solve the problem.  You stay awake worrying over your job, your family, your problems – and next morning you are far less capable of solving those problems than if you had gone to sleep and left them with God.  Worrying about a situation doesn’t solve it.   It doesn’t even make sense, but trusting God does.

One man once said to his two boys; “If ever I catch you worrying about things you can’t help, I am going to punish you.  And if ever I catch you worrying about things you can help, I will punish you because you should be doing something about it.”  One of the sons later said, “We thought about that afterwards, and realised that Dad hadn’t left us a thing to worry about!”

Everything comes under those two heads.  If you can’t help it, worrying won’t alter the fact.  And if you can help it, stop worrying and get on with doing something about it!

Christianity is not a ‘pie in the sky’ religion, it is very practical and down to earth.  When God says “Trust in Me”, He means exactly what he says.

Psalm 37 – our verse for this week says, “Trust in the Lord and do good, so will you live safely and your needs will be met”.  Good advice!  Put your trust in God today.

God’s Thoughts and ways provided by Rev. E. Anderson

Rev. E. Anderson

These are but points to ponder that will initiate a greater comprehending of God’s mind and procedures. He desires that there should be a knowing of His sovereign plans and purposes so that life, ministry and service will be enriched and enhanced by His input. There is a revelation that His “thoughts and ways” are infinitely superior to ours – Isaiah 55:8, 9. We need to know and embrace them so that we might be able to achieve and succeed according to His desire and determinations. God bless you in your quest.

GOD’S THOUGHTS AND WAYS

THE WAY OF WORSHIP

Reading     John 4

Text          vv22-24

Introduction

SUBJECT: On the agenda that day, Christ and the Samaritan woman dwelt on the issue of divine worship. It was of interest to both parties. It was of concern to both Jews and Samaritans. The woman brought the subject up but it was Christ who gave clarification on the whole matter showing the importance, relevance and priority of it. It was something that had to be given closest attention and thought by all irrespective of national and racial identity.

VOCATION: Man was made to be and called to be a worshipper. This is his main vocation in life, to worship. Regrettably, he is found to be worshipping the wrong things. Christ said to the woman: “you worship you know not what.” This is certainly so with the majority of mankind. They are at worship but are full of ignorance as to who and what they are worshipping. They are like the ones that Paul addressed at Athens – Acts 17: 16, 22-28. The city was filled with idolatries and idolaters. Everyone is worshipping someone or something and it is imperative that each discover who is to be really worship and in what way.

1/. THE WORSHIP OF GOD IS TO BE THE PRIORITY ACTION OF LIFE

Why can this be asserted to be so? Because Christ states that it is the will of the Father that men do this. If this is heaven’s desire and design then it is essential that there be knowledge of and a commitment to it. It is to be the first thing to be done and has priority claim above all else. If this has its true place then all things will fall into place. The first thing that was put before God’s people when they left Egypt was the subject of worship – Exodus 20: 2-5.

Christ reveals God in the ‘Father relation’; it is the Father that seeks. One is not in the business of adoring and revering a remote, cold deity, but One who has revealed Himself in a special and beautiful light: Father. Christ comes to introduce us to God and to God as the Father - John 14: 7-11. The Lord was opening this woman’s eyes to a completely new image and picture of God.

2/. THE WORSHIP OF GOD MUST BE PURSUED WITH REALITY

The worship of God has to be real and without fabrication and artificiality. It is not something that has to be put on like a show and according to a routine or tradition. As far as God the Father is concerned, worship must come from a relationship from those within His family of which He is Father, and it must come from the pure, true inward expression of the spirit and soul. Nothing but the holiest and finest motives must govern the worshipper. The worshipper must be at their best and the worship the richest possible. Those who know Him as Father will worship Him as Father and give Him the reverence, gifts and praise due.

Illustration:  Woman with the alabaster box of ointment – Matthew 26: 7-13

3/. THE WORSHIP OF GOD ALLOWS NO OTHER CONTENDERS

It becomes very clear from the Scriptures that the Lord alone must be worshipped and that no rivals will be entertained whatsoever. Israel had to make sure that the whole land of Canaan be purged from the pollution of idols and that the Lord be given undisputed rule and reign in the land. Nothing else was to be permitted to be alongside. The first thing that Gideon had to do before there could be an ensuing victory was to get rid of the idol – Judges 6: 25.

4/. THE WORSHIP OF GOD MUST BE ACCORDING TO HIS REVELATION

The Lord set out to the Israelites the path and program of worship in the construction of the Tabernacle and Temple. He showed how they could draw near to Him and discover His presence, government and favour – see Exodus and Leviticus. He desired that this people draw near to Him and discover Him in a unique relationship and blessedness. But He has taken a greater step forward in the advent of Christ, making it possible for man to be renewed, regenerated and brought into His family and to draw nigh to God through His Son, Jesus Christ. God the Father is to be worshipped through Christ the Son and by the enabling presence of the Holy Spirit

7/. THE WORSHIP OF GOD HAS ITS BLESSED CONSEQUENCES

When God the Father is worshipped in reality the results of it are most beneficial. There comes the great sense, knowledge and atmosphere of God in and upon the life. God the Father fills the thoughts and His ways become known fully. There is the consciousness of His Fatherhood and the out-workings of His plans and program. Life is lifted on to a new level of inspiration and realization etc.

CONCLUSION

This is the pursuit of Christ in relation to us: to make us worshippers.

This should be what we pursue as number one priority.

LITTLE FLOWER

James McCutcheon

Fiorello LaGuardia was mayor of New York City during the worst days of the Great Depression and all of World War II. He was called by adoring New Yorkers “the Little Flower” because he was only five-foot-four and always wore a carnation in his lapel. He was a colorful character who used to ride the New York City fire trucks, raid speakeasies with the police department, take entire orphanages to baseball games, and whenever the New York newspapers were on strike, he would go on the radio and read the Sunday funnies to the kids.

One bitterly cold night in January of 1935, the mayor turned up at a night court that served the poorest ward of the city. LaGuardia dismissed the judge for the evening and took over the bench himself. Within a few minutes, a tattered old woman was brought before him, charged with stealing a loaf of bread. She told LaGuardia that her daughter’s husband had deserted her, her daughter was sick, and her two grandchildren were starving. But the shopkeeper, from whom the bread was stolen, refused to drop the charges. “It’s a bad neighborhood, your Honor,” the man told the mayor. “She’s got to be punished to teach other people around here a lesson.”

LaGuardia sighed. He turned to the woman and said, “I’ve got to punish you. The law makes no exceptions-ten dollars or ten days in jail.” But even as he pronounced sentence, the mayor was already reaching into his pocket. He extracted a bill and tossed it into his famous sombrero saying:

“Here is the ten dollar fine which I now remit; and furthermore I am going to fine everyone in this courtroom fifty cents for living in a town where a person has to steal bread so that her grandchildren can eat. Mr. Bailiff, collect the fines ~ them to the defendant.”

So the following day the New York City new reported that $47.50 was turned over to a bewildered who had stolen a loaf of bread to feed her starving grandchildren, fifty cents of that amount being contributed by faced grocery store owner, while some seventy petty criminals people with traffic violations, and New York City policemen each of whom had just paid fifty cents for the privilege so, gave the mayor a standing ovation.

WHAT SIZE IS GOD?

God can do all things.

MATTHEW 19:26

Nature is God’s workshop. The sky is his resume. The universe is his calling card. You want to know who God is? See what he has done. You want to know his power? Take a look at his creation. Curious about his strength? Pay a visit to his home address: 1 Billion Starry Sky Avenue.

He is untainted by the atmosphere of sin, unbridled by the time line of history, unhindered by the weariness of the body.

What controls you doesn’t control him. What troubles you doesn’t trouble him. what fatigues you doesn’t fatigue him. Is an eagle disturbed by. traffic? No, he rises above it. Is the whale perturbed by a hurricane? Of course not, he plunges beneath it. Is the lion flustered by the mouse standing directly in his way? No, he steps over it.

How much more is God able to soar above, plunge beneath, and step over the troubles of the earth!
