VALUES

John Betjeman could take a worthless sheet of paper, write a poem on it, and make it worth £100 – That’s GENIOUS.

Charles Clore could sign his name to a piece of paper and make it worth a million – That’s CAPITAL.

The Royal Mint can take an inexpensive piece of metal, stamp the Queen’s head on it and make it worth £1- That’s MONEY.

A mechanic can take material that is only worth £1 and make it worth £50  - that’s CRAFTSMANSHIP.

An artist can take a few pounds worth of canvas, paint a picture on it, and make it worth a fortune – that’s ART.

God can take a worthless, sinful life, cleanse it by the power of Christ, put His Spirit in it, and make it a blessing to humanity – that’s SALVATION.
