Rev. K. Munday
Keith Munday has been a minister with Assemblies of God sixty years. Born into a strict Baptist home, he came to the Lord at the age of twelve and at 10 he was called up for 5 years military service in World War 2.
He came into the ministry in 1947 and served in pastorates at Peterborough, Diss, Barnsley, Doncaster and Maidstone From 1966 -70 he served as Radio Director and producer for the Assemblies Radio department, providing programmes for Luxembourg, West Indies and the Far East.
He was elected to General Secretary where he served for nine years and was Conference Chairman three times. He also served on various committees such as the Credentials, Editorial and Board of Bible College Governors.
Having studied Journalism he has contributed many articles to Christian apers and has written books, THE MIND IN DISTRESS, THE QUESTIONS THEY ASK, A PASTORS SCRAPBOOK AND A QUESTION OF ETHICS.
He has incorporated a hospital chaplaincy in his ministry and still conducts a hospital service periodically, and although in his 85th year is still going strong. He is on his local Church leadership team.
His wife Peggy died in 2004 and has a son, daughter, four grand-children and three great grandchildren.
